The Council of Ministers announced the categories of businesses that are excluded from the right to defer VAT payments as announced on 29 March 2020. Those businesses are electricity power companies, supermarkets, minimarkets, food retailing, retail sale of fuel, pharmacies, telecommunication providers.<\/p>\n

Categories of businesses above, should effect a payment of 30% of the payable VAT within 15 days from the end of each month, for all VAT periods falling within the 1 January 2020 until 31 May 2020. The method of payment is expected to be issued through a separate decree by the Ministry of Finance.<\/p>\n
