{"id":3147,"date":"2022-10-07T15:48:54","date_gmt":"2022-10-07T15:48:54","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/r02fi4ct8m.wpdns.site\/announcement-from-belize-companies-corporate-affairs-registry\/"},"modified":"2022-10-07T15:48:54","modified_gmt":"2022-10-07T15:48:54","slug":"announcement-from-belize-companies-corporate-affairs-registry","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.gstaxconsultants.com\/el\/announcement-from-belize-companies-corporate-affairs-registry\/","title":{"rendered":"Announcement from &#8220;Belize Companies &#038; Corporate Affairs Registry&#8221;"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>We would like to communicate you that Belize Companies &amp; Corporate Affaires Registry has announced that from November 28<sup>th<\/sup> 2022 will go fully online.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Below are some important dates in respect to the Online Business Registry System (OBRS) for your information:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>November 4<sup>th<\/sup> to November 27<sup>th<\/sup><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Companies Registry will stop new incomings and will process all orders received prior to November 4<sup>th<\/sup> no later than November 18<sup>th<\/sup> (this means no new order will be accepted as of November 4<sup>th<\/sup> under the present system)<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>November 28<sup>th<\/sup><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Registry restarts operations and its Re-registration process commences (this means all services will be done under the new OBRS and register agents will commence the re-registration of all companies under their management)<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Under the new Belize Companies Act, 2022:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Only Licenses Register Agents will be allowed to access the OBRS and incorporate companies&nbsp;<\/li>\n<li>All IBCs will be transitioned into and known as a Foreign Company&nbsp;<\/li>\n<li>Foreign Companies will be issued a new 9 digit company number and an E- certificate following re-registration by its agents<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>We await the Guidelines to the new Belize Companies Act, 2022 which will provide us with implementation and administrative guidelines that we will share with you at such time.
