On behalf of all of us at Globalserve, we are truly sorry for any inconvenience this unprecedented situation with Covid-19 has caused and wanted to provide you with an update.
The President of the Cyprus Government, Mr. Nikos Anastasiades together with the Ministers of Health, Finance and Labour announced a series of measures until 30/4/2020 and highlighted that the island is experiencing a state of emergency due to coronavirus.
Based on the announcement, non Cyprus citizens who do not have Cyprus permit cannot enter into the country unless special approval is granted. Furthermore Cyprus residents can enter the country only if they present recent medical certificate that are virus free in which case they will be placed in a compulsory quarantine for two weeks.
It is also highlighted that based on the guidelines of the Government all schools of the country have closed as well as many enterprises and the governmental offices are operating with basic staff since the target is to convince people to stay at home and avoid social interaction in order to limit the spread of the coronavirus. Among others special leave is granted to one of the parents to stay at home with the children.
Our firm is still working to meet your requests but as a result of the above measures we operate with less staff which is split in two shifts and we ask for your understanding if the service is not as quick as you are used to, due to the above measures and the slower rate of service by the governmental offices especially the registrar of companies and the tax authorities. At the same time we commit ourselves to continue providing you with the highest standard of service and encourage you to contact us through emails, conference calls and Skype meetings to continue supporting you
Be assured that we shall continue monitoring the situation and update you.
We recognize that the COCID–19 virus has required all of us to be more mindful as we go through our regular activities. Take care of yourselves and keep in touch with us.
