{"id":3030,"date":"2020-08-09T17:06:24","date_gmt":"2020-08-09T17:06:24","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/r02fi4ct8m.wpdns.site\/cyprus-is-ready-to-introduce-an-updated-and-more-attractive-citizenship-by-investments-program\/"},"modified":"2025-05-30T11:59:20","modified_gmt":"2025-05-30T11:59:20","slug":"cyprus-is-ready-to-introduce-an-updated-and-more-attractive-citizenship-by-investments-program","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.gstaxconsultants.com\/ru\/cyprus-is-ready-to-introduce-an-updated-and-more-attractive-citizenship-by-investments-program\/","title":{"rendered":"Cyprus is ready to introduce an updated and more attractive Citizenship by Investments Program"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Cyprus is ready to introduce an updated and more attractive Citizenship by Investments Program (Cyprus Investment Program, CIP). &nbsp;On July 31<sup>st<\/sup> the Cyprus Parliament voted the revised legislation and regulations of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gstaxconsultants.com\/ru\/immigration-services\/\">Cyprus Investments Program (CIP)<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Based on the official announcement received the below were voted and is expected to be officially announced soon.<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>The financial criteria has remained the same:<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<ul>\n<li>an investment of \u20ac2,000,000 is required<\/li>\n<li>plus acquiring a residency of at least \u20ac500,000 plus VAT.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>In the case that the investment of \u20ac2,000,000 is in residential property, then no additional residency is required to be purchased. However, the investor is not allowed anymore to set up a land developing company as per of his\/her investment plan.<\/p>\n<ol start=\"2\">\n<li>Donation amount:<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>It is increased to a total amount of \u20ac200,000 (\u20ac100,000 and \u20ac100,000)<\/p>\n<ol start=\"3\">\n<li>Parents of both the investor and his\/her spouse can now apply provided that they acquire a residency of at least \u20ac500,000 plus VAT for each side.
