The Cyprus Ministry of Labor, Welfare, and Social Insurance announced amendments concerning the registration of companies and employees to Social Insurance through ERGANI system from 13th of September 2021.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Through system ERGANI employers are able to register as employers and also to register their employees electronically.<\/p>\n
1. Each employer should be registered as an employer to the ERGANI system no later than one (1) day before the date that is expected to become an employer.<\/p>\n
2. Each employer should notify the Social Insurance Services for each employee recruitment no later than one (1) day before the particular recruitment.<\/p>\n
Notification of new employment should be submitted online only through the ERGANI Information system https:\/\/ergani.mlsi.gov.cy<\/a><\/p>\n We also inform you that the issuance and use of the \u201cCertificate of commencement of employment\u201d will be abolished as from 13 September 2021.<\/p>\n 3. Each employer should keep a recruitment registry in which the below details must be included: *******************<\/p>\n
– serial number,
– name,
– ID card number,
– Social Security number,
– date of recruitment and
– date of commencement of employment<\/p>\n
