1. Compliance and Banking Officer
Requirements and experience:
- University degree preferably in relevant subject is preferable (Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Law);
- Strong Knowledge of AML laws, regulations and procedures;
- Familiarity with KYC procedures
- Minimum 1 year of experience in AML/compliance and/or banking (bank account opening/closing, management of bank accounts);
- Fluency in English and Greek is a must;
- Strong computer skills especially in MS Office applications;
- Excellent Communication skills;
- Service oriented individual with exceptional interpersonal skills and team spirit;
- Strong organizational and analytical skills;
- Support the team with matters relating to banking, AML/KYC policies and procedures;
Description of responsibilities:
- Conduct customer due diligence (CDD), enhanced due diligence (EDD), and transaction monitoring.
- Investigate suspicious activities and escalate potential risks or breaches.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure company-wide compliance.
- Opening of client bank and EMI’s accounts and communication with all banks whether in Cyprus or abroad.
- Monitoring and ensuring smooth and efficient execution of bank transactions.

- Posting bookkeeping transactions
- Bank reconciliation
- Debtors/creditors reconciliation
- Preparation and submission of VAT and monthly VIES returns
- Posting payroll in the accounting system and reconcile with payroll reports
- Communication with clients
- Preparation of the books and records of the clients for the audit
