Cyprus has introduced a new digital service for the online renewals of immigration permits for Companies of Foreign Interests (BCS) and Family Reunification (MFR).
Effective January 1, 2027, all immigration renewals will be conducted exclusively online. To complete a renewal through the immigration portal, each applicant is required to have an active CyLogin profile.
To ensure a seamless transition and prevent any delays, please advise all employees of these new regulatory requirements. We strongly recommend that every individual sets up their CyLogin profile in advance.
Please note the following key details regarding the new digital service:
– Scope: The system currently applies strictly to the renewal of existing permits, rather than initial applications.
– Employment Categories: For employment-related renewals, this service covers cases where the employee continues working for the same employer or within the same company, depending on their permit category.
